What a difference a year makes...Last year Carolina students put off Spring Break until the Tarheels put The Blue Devils away. This year the matriculating crowd could not get out of town fast enough. Meanwhile over in Durham, K Ville was filled with Dook students camping out for tickets to the Saturday showdown. No one at that end of Tobacco Road gave a thought to fun in the sun.
I had hope that the Tarheels would rally and at least put up a fight...maybe even pulling off an upset. Not! Now the heels are playing on Thursday in the venerable ACC Tournament, an unheard of event. I still have hope.
St Mary's has made it to the Dance!! If you read this blog you may remember my support of this team last year early in the season. They fell short, but are in this year. They will be my Cinderella!!!!!
