Greetings from Pittsboro! As some of you might know, Pat and I have made our escape from the suburban sprawl of North Atlanta and have relocated to a quirky little town in North Carolina called Pittsboro. We are about 20 miles from Chapel Hill down the infamous highway 15-501. I decided to start a blog to keep everyone up-to-date on our adventures in the "Pitt", as we fondly refer to our new haven.

The Last Day
We spent the day walking....walking to the White House....walking to the Washington Monument....looking up the Mall at the Capital and down to the Lincoln Memorial. Checking Jefferson across the Tidal Basin to make sure all is well. It is a day to remember. Families have come to Washington to witness a change. People are happy and the snow, sleet, and cold does not seem to matter at all. I will post some pics.

I'll be looking for you just like Bea looked for us at the Watergate hearings.
